Ulf-Dietrich Reips is a tenured full professor and holds the chair for Research Methods, Assessment, and iScience at University of Konstanz, Germany. Previously, he was awarded a tenured research professorship by Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, to work at Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Prior he worked as an Assistant Professor at University of Zürich, Switzerland. Further stages and affiliations include: the University of Irvine, USA (Sabbatical research stays 2014/15, 2018 and 2022/23); University of Colorado Boulder, USA (FIRST Awards 2012 and 2013, honorary affiliation); the Open University, UK (Research Award, 2003), the Sonoma State University, USA (Master) and the Universität Tübingen (PhD, venia legendi). His work focuses on the methodology of data collection via the Internet, shortly after the World Wide Web was invented he pioneered conducting Internet-based experiments.
