At the Association for Psychological Science‘s (APS) annual meeting Prof. Ulf-Dietrich Reips, who is the incoming Editor-in-Chief of Psychological Science in the Public Interest (PSPI), engaged in discussions about Open Science and joined an invited panel that provided advice to graduate students and researchers on publishing with APS journals and on publishing in general.

In line with APS’ intention of being a global society for psychological science the meeting took place May 27–30, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain – first time ever as the only annual meeting fully outside North America.

In November 2025, iscience team members Ulf-Dietrich Reips, Yury Shevchenko and Anni Tave Overlander held a special symposium at the Meeting of the Society for Computation in Psychology (SCiP) on Internet-based Methods. We were joined by Erin Buchanan and Chris Wolfe for inspiring talks as well as Prof. emeritus Gary McClelland who led a provocative discussion to further enrich the session.

In November 2024, iscience team members Ulf-Dietrich Reips, Yury Shevchenko and Anni Tave Overlander held a special symposium at the Meeting of the Society for Computation in Psychology (SCiP) on New tools in Internet-based research. We were joined by Erin Buchanan for an inspiring talk as well as Chris Wolfe who led an insightful discussion to summarize the talks.
