The LUKS prize is an award for exemplary teachers, nominated and elected by students in each department at University of Konstanz.
This year, the award in the psych department went to Annika Tave Overlander from the iScience group! 🥳 Students appreciated her creating an open atmosphere and giving space to any (stupid) question. Some even mentioned having fun while learning to code in their psychology studies 💻

Anni has previously won another award for her teaching of statistics, the Karl-and-Charlotte-Bühler-Prize for excellent teaching (at TU Dresden). We are very happy that she is the first PhD student in the psych department to receive the LUKS! Fun Fact: In the last ten years the only postdoc to receive this award was also a member of the iScience group, Dr. Tim Kuhlmann in 2018. 🥂
