Nils Petras studied Psychology in Konstanz since 2011. Since 2013 he repeatedly taught statistics as a tutor, working with the iScience team from the first lecture. His Bachelors thesis used the steady-state visually evoked potential paradigm to study emotional picture perception in the EEG. In his masters thesis he implemented a new way of factor structure visualization – the factor based radex model or Item Pool Visualization (IPV) – by Michael Dantlgraber, Stefan Stieger and Ulf-Dietrich Reips – in R. Since February 2019 he is a PhD student with Thorsten Meiser at University of Mannheim
