Quality of Life 🏆

✨Quality of Life Prize awarded to PICTURE project🖼️

The Quality of Life prize by the Lilly foundation (HRQoL Preis, only in German) has been awarding scientific works that develop tools for capturing health related quality of life or strive to innovate therapies and measurements for almost 30 years. Among others, the prize values theoretical foundation, methodological rigor and real life application for patients.

This prize, which will be awarded officially in May 2026, has been granted to Gensinchen et al. for the PICTURE project study (2025), which iscience’s own Ulf-Dietrich Reips was involved in. The study examined the effectiveness of a general practitioner-led intervention for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) patients in an observer-blind randomized control trial.
We congratulate the winners and appreciate this recognition of important advances in the field of clinical psychology! 🍾
