On June 30, 2013, the newest issue of the International Journal of Internet Science appeared. In their editorial, editors Ulf-Dietrich Reips and Uwe Matzat present an updated calculation of the 2012 journal impact factor: it has risen to a minimum of 2.9 (ISI) and 6.1 (Google Scholar).
