Manuel Waizenhöfer is currently pursuing his master degree in Psychology at the University of Konstanz. In his Bachelor thesis he conducted research on psychiatric disorders in homicide offenders. For his Master thesis Manuel is focusing on the „Communication Mode Preference Paradox“ within social networks. He is collecting data in a web experiment as well as on Twitter to analyze the preferred format of probabilistic representation (verbal versus numeric) of the message sender and responder, respectively (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ulf-Dietrich Reips).
